Oil Palm EFB is difficult
to be utilized because its easy entangle and highly abrasive texture, of which
always causing high unexpected down time, under capacity and jamming problem of
cutting/shredding machine.
But oil palm EFB has become good biomass material in biofuel field, because they are obtained every year in large quantity, similar calorific value as wood. They are by-products in palm oil industry, in some sense, they are wastes. Many oil palm planation owner and merchant who are sensetive with new market and foresight, invest in oil palm EFB recycling. Recent years, Malaysian goverment and banks also participant in this market with strong policy support. We can see Malaysia has become largest EFB pellets manufacturer.
Our DRUM CHIPPER SHREDDER, a RELIABLE machine that specially developed for EFB shredding/size reduction. It is considered as most affordable and effective equipment by our old clients. They are used to cut EFB into short and loosen fibers, in length 4” to 14”, thus the fibre can be used as raw material for boiler fuel, for making briquette or pellet press, or organic fertilizer.
